I had to manually re-register those DLLs as the AVIVO installer failed for me on Vista 64.Regarding W8: I think the team position is that we won't be providing a W8 compatible installer until W8 is much closer to release. The reason that we take that approach is that we don't have the resources to provide support for preview/beta/RC OSes. MP is open source so anybody is free to make their own installer.
