Hallo everybody, and congratulations for your project !!! 
I am new to all this and I am having a problem with my capture card, (ANDI from Electronic Design). :?:
It is NOT a TV card, it is a capture card, supported with a S-VHS Video input/output, as well with a simple yellow BMC Video input/output. It uses a ZORAN chipset, and I heard it is good enough for my needs. 8)
MediaPortal has regocnised my card, BUT when I tried to record something with MediaPortal, first I loose my signal (video screen became black) and then it crashes.... :?: :!: :?:
I had tried many differend adjustments, but the results were REALLY bad. Jerking or even frozen captures is the best result, whatever I have tried....
Something tells me that I am not using the right codec, so PLEASE HELP ME, because I am really like this project. :idea:
