You can access CI menu also from TV fullscreen->context menu->open CI menu ;)

I wonder if the CAM is right by telling some audio stream is scrambled. Could this maybe be caused by PID filtering of Floppy CI? Or maybe the CAPMT doesn't contain the complained stream PID?

I-Loop, you also have a Floppy, maybe you have an idea?

I'm also using the Floppy-DTV S2 with a Alphacrypt and a Technisat Cryptworks CAM. I have not experienced such problems.

Did you already try to put the Aston CAM into a STB and have a look if there the messages also popup?

DjeC64, you have an Aston CAM? Wasn't there a special option to check in CAM-settings, because it needs some special patched caPMT / PID handling?

    a) have you enabled this setting in TvCard/CAM config?
    b) if enabled, could this special handling not completly working?

In the CI menu their is nothing in the settings that is telling about verbose.

    My model is Astoncrypt 2.18.

I cannot find any caPMT / PID handling.
In TVCard I Edit the FloppyDTV then CAM settings are there. I have checked all:

    Card Preload
    CAM model : Astoncrypt 2
    CAM Limit : 0
    Grab EPG

    Where should I find the caPMT/handling ?

Ok, you have chosen "AstonCrypt 2" as CAM type, this is what I meant. There was a special workaround to get AC3 descrambling right: 0001799: Dual AC3 descrambling fails with AstonCrypt 2 module. - MediaPortal Bugtracker for this CAM.

My thought is, that there could be more stream types that need "patching", or that the current implementation is not complete. And this get's visible now, as we have enabled CI messages by default.

I'll ask Ambass if he can look into this topic.

I've just updated with beta release, and now I got this issue......( extremely WAF ! )
I've not tried to setup with "standard" CAM, but the patch ( normally ;) ) concern only AC3 channels.

This seems caused by changes between 23407 and beta.

    Same config as yours Djec64. ( Floppy DTV-S2 / Aston 2.18 / CSAT / C+ / Mediaguard)

the "funny" thing about this topic is the fact, that a new feature is showing up a problem that didn't seem to exist before.

but your CAMs probably always wanted to tell you this. But only since CI menu support, it's able to do so :p

I see 2 ways to solve this:
    1. Disable the "auto enable CI menu" for Aston type CAM, or by ConfigOption
    2. Fix the caPmt patching, so CAM won't complain ;)

1st option I really would NOT like... So Ambass, are you motivated enough to look into 2nd option?

    (remind the WAF :D)
