Sorry guys im all out of ideas here so maybe you can help.

When playing a videofile (doesnt matter what) every couple of minutes my CPU processor jumps from a steady 20-25% to 60-70% usage and therefore skipping the video i am watching for a couple of seconds. I have the 780G motherboard with ATI HD3200 integrated running on ATI 8.11 CCC

I have tried the following:

Fresh install of XP Home with all updates except SP3
K-Lite Codec Full Pack without players
FFDShow Tryouts
Various settings in FFDShow and CoreAVC
No install of Anti Virus software and Windows Defender

Well, this is a brand new system and i would love for it to play files correctly. Unfortunately it doesnt. I have a Laptop with dual core and 8800GTX and no problem on the laptop playing files.

Thanks in advance guys :)
