    Hi!

I've been using mce hauppauge (fig. 1) with my antec fusion imon IR, for the past 6 months. I cant fig out how to use the remote with the accompanying blaster! but it works nicely when you edit the keystrokes through the imon manager software (fig. 2)

Now I have this new remote (fig. 3) I dont know how to get it to work with MP, I installed the IR 32 and the mp config allowed me to adopt it as my remote but nothing happens in the prog. I know im doing something daft just cant see what.

    Thanks all.

That remote works through the tvcard ir connection, so if you have not got the hauppauge ir receiver connected, it will not work afaik.

Thanks for the prompt reply Paranoid Delusion.

I'm not sure if you can answer this question?

Would you have any ideas about getting it to work another way.

Im using a technotrend pci instead of the haupp pvr pci so i cant use the IR reciever that you mentioned :). The technotrend connection IR looks the same (connected through a 3mm connection) into the card.

The reason Im asking is its very easy to navigate around MP's "woop" menus with this remote.

    Thanks PD!

You could see if irserversuite or eventghost can translate any keypresses from the remote, that your receiver can make head or tail of.

You might as well uninstall ir32 as that links directly to the tvcard you have not got :)

Respect, Appreciate the tip and advise.

Driver going to be uninstalled directly after "only fools and horses - the jolly boys outing"

Will try either one - and will post results

    :D
