Hi All,

After 2 nights of reading all the forums I'm still at the same point as when I started.
Could some one please push me in the right direction.

I can't get the VDF running in mediaportal.

I have downloaded the latest IMon software version.
I have installed the IR server. And I tried to configure the minidisplay plugin.

The VDF is working with Imon but I can't get it controlled by media portal.

Please give me some hints.

thanks in advance.

I have the older Antec Fusion with the VFD. Not running an MP plugin but instead using LCDSmartie to show some stats. Are you looking to show MP specific data?

You need to install the VFD SW from Antec. Think it contains the drivers. I don't have any other IMON SW installed.

I've installed the 7.62.0721 driver from soundgraph about 2 days ago.
My antec silver v2 display has firmware 0xa0.
Harmony 555 remote setup as MCE remote
    Mediaportal 1.0.2

    I've setup minidisplay to:
    - turn off display on exit
    - force reload during driver start (if i don't do this, media portal can't use the display)
    - restart frontview on exit

    I've setup imon/frontview:
    - to run always
    - automode: show date time when closed

    What I get is this:
    - Date/Time is showing when pc is powered off
    - I can power on the pc through remote (harmony 555 setup as MCE remote)
    - Media portal takes over the display

Only i have to left click the mouse once to "activate" media portal before my remote works.

It seems that if minidisplay tries to force the reload of the driver, media portal looses focus. Only when activatig the media portal again, everything works like a charme.
A simple fix might resolve this, make sure media portal gets focus again when driver has started... if this small thing would be fixed this setup works i guess.
