Just randomly took a few photos of a build I did a while back :p

Thought I would post them on here :)

Here is the spec:

  • Asus M3N78-VM motherboard.
  • Chipset: GeForce 8200
  • AMD Phenom™ X4 9650 Quad Core 2.3GHz
  • Mini Ninja CPU Cooler
  • 2 x Noctua 120mm 800RPM fans.
  • 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800MHz)
  • 2 x 1TB (2000GB) Samsung Spinpoint F1, SATA 300, 7200 rpm, 32MB Cache, NCQ
  • LG Blu-ray / HD-DVD combo drive
  • Compro Videomate T220 TV Tuner
  • 54Mbps Wireless PCI Card with Antenna
  • 450W SILENT PSU

Nice rig, you've got there. Makes me jealous....:). That's a really powerful HTPC, what are you going to run on it? Windows Vista x64?

This was a build for a customer, he requested Vista Ultimate 32 bit ;)

My personal HTPC is quite a bit more powerful... :p

whats are the temps like looks like an awesome build

This system has great cooling properties, even with the low speed fans.

The Mini Ninja cooler is the key piece :p The fans keep the airflow through it.

This is not a gaming rig, so it will not really be used to its full potential; but it's what the customer wanted, so it's what he got :p
