Also, when the surface was dry, I used another layer of shiny clear paint (no color), so now the faceplate it has a shiny look. The great thing about this clear paint layer is that you will not see the fingerprints. It keeps it clean. If you put your fingers on it, you'll not see the fingerprints after that.
Hi TarX, A few months ago I bought an Antec NSK2480. Actually, on the American market, it was on sale as NSK2400. It was sold as refurbished, meaning it had no power source. The case had silver faceplate, like the one in the link you provided. YOU ARE LUCKY ! The frontplate is made of plastic and is completely removable. However, you have to un-screw two sets of screws. I did it and I was able to paint it in black. I can also provide a picture, so you can see it for yourself. In the picture, the top-right side of the faceplate, where the logo is, still has the silver paint. Before I started to paint the frontplate, I covered the logo. It needed about 4 layers of black paint, spray paint. My next task would be to paint also the tray of the DVD drive, so it'll have a nive look overall. Be carefull what paint you use, some of them will melt the plastic. Good luck ! Buy it, it's a great case. Claus14
