Any downside to leaving WMC enable (1 Viewer)

I have seen that you can disable Windows Media Center with Media Portal. Any downside if I wanted to leave it enable I have a few plugins that only work in WMC. I have put the shortcut for MP in WMC and can launch it from there and it closed WMC. When I go out of MP windows media center will launch.

The only downside would be tv, if both tried to access tuner at same time, so if using only one for tv, then no problem.

Great I was just going to setup mediaportal with the tv server and have the MP clients use it... We will use MP for most things.. There are some plugins for WMC that work great and maybe with time will work with MP.
