Any way to get IR codes without remote? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have recently bought a TV on an auction. Payed about $200 for a DiBoss LM-29HXP. The problem is that it didn't came with any remote and I am now wondering if there is any possibility to find the IR codes for it online or if there exists any software to scan the tv for codes?
I don't need all the fancy functions of the original remote, just things like volume up/down and turning the TV on/off.

Is there anything I can do or am I doomed to live a life (or at least a small segment of my life) without a TV remote?

If you know somebody with a Logitech Harmony, then get them to add your device to it

That wasn't any good news. Don't know anyone who owns a Logitech Harmony and it's way out of my budget.

Hm ... I think that a forum user could do the same, via IR server suite, perhaps?
