But the devices (LNB or Multiswitch) are a bit too expensive for me to buy it just for testing...
And now I think I understand what the DVBCineConfig-Tool is talking about. It seems that all Unicable related DiSEqC-commands and frequency-changes are handled in the driver - acting as some sort of a bridge or relay. This would mean, that every NON-unicable app can request layer and frequency in the "normal", well-known way, but the driver actually requests it in Unicable mode - while still giving the app feedback with "normal" values.
I hope I got it right, not talking bullshit
But how else could "It works for every Application" been ment?
Is somebody out there with a Unicable installation?? I would send my device to him for testing (as long as I get it back, I really love it!!)
