I'm currently in the process of backing up the content of my file server to my old harddrives so that I have an extra copy of the data if my file server should die for some reason. But I'm having some problems finding a way to keep track of what data is on each disk. The plan was to just use a directory printer and create a tekst document with the content. This works great on TV-series and mkv-movies, but it's crap for DVDs not to mention Blurays where it just becomes information overload.

So I'd prefer to get folders+ files for my TV-shows, and just folders for my movies, basically creating something that looks like this:

    \movies\DVD-Filmer\Alone in the Dark
    \movies\DVD-Filmer\Alone in the Dark II

    10 Items Or Less - S01E02 - Miracle Worker.avi
    10 Items Or Less - S01E03 - Health Insurance.avi
    10 Items Or Less - S01E04 - What Women Want.avi
    10 Items Or Less - S01E05 - Bag It.avi

Are there any programs that can differentiate between movie-folders and TV-show folders?

Or are there any of you who has a better solution for my problem all together?
