When i enable my Athlon64's Cool&Quiet i get stuttering in recordings and live TV with my twinhan. If i disable it, the problem disappears. This problem is regardless of driver version and TV application(also occurs in MyTheatre and in TwinhanDTV when using the WDM driver for example)

Does anyone else have a system with a Twinahn DVB card and a recent Athlon CPU? If so i would very much like to talk to them, to find out whether this is restricted to my system.

Please, if you fit the above description, reply here, even if you havent had any problems.

I'm using twinhan DVB-T CI card with Asus MB but instead of Athlon I have a Pentium D, so different chipset etc... I'm using Cool&Quiet with Asus MB without problems. I don't know if this helps...

You have a Pentium D? Intel CPU's dont have Cool&Quiet, they have SpeedStep. Where exactly did you enable Cool&Quiet?

    Thanks for the feedback.

Sorry, i confused Cool&Quiet of AMD with AI Quiet of my p5wd2 mb...
AI Quiet dynamically control CPU and Fun speed to keep low noise and low temperature. Very similar to Cool&Quiet....but another thing...

Okay, i guess this problem must be something specific to AMD CNQ and Twinhan.

No one else? There must be someone out there using an athlon CPU with Twinhan card!
