Anyone used one of these?

Would the "64 bit Dual Core CPU (Atom D525) in combination with 4GB DDR3 RAM (3.25 GB operating system, 0.75 GB RAMDisk) and 80 cores from the DirectX 11 GPU (ATI 5430, 512 MB GDDR3)" be sufficient for MP and videos to run smoothly? I'd use a USB dual DVB-T tuner, like the K-World 499U.

Have you looked at this - http://www.ebuyer.com/391204-lenovo...2012&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=b2c_monday - which seems to be a more modern take on the same combo, with a dual-core+hyperthreading Atom and more powerful AMD GPU.

I have a netbook with an N2600 (slightly slower than a D2550) and it's quite good for such a low-power CPU - it's the not-very-powerful integrated (GMA3650) GPU that lets the side down, so adding a sensible AMD GPU ought to be a nice combo in theory.

It's interesting but doesn't seem to use passive cooling for silent operation like the MC001. It comes with HDD and 4GB RAM which the MC001-e doesn't but no DVD-RW, which that does.

The question is whether there's any need for the lenovo's more powerful CPU and GPU or if the MC001's CPU and GPU are sufficient for smooth operation of MP and video/TV playback?

I just saw Aria.co.uk has the bluray version of this for a little over £200.. was wondering if anyone has one of these myself.. Would be nice for the bedroom as client. Expensive brick if it turns out not powerful enough!
