There has been a decent amount of activity in these forums related to cropping/resizing/bar elimination so things are probably changing for the better for us.Oh, and yes, different DVDs use differnt aspect ratios, so that can change it as well (who knows, there might even be DVDs outh there at 16:10, and they would look better on our screens and other people would get bars). I usually do a quick scan through the different modes while the wife is up getting a blanket or popcorn or something just to make sure nothing else looks better; usually Normal is best.</blockquote>
