From you logs it seems to be an AVI file which can basically mean anything (for example Xvid/DivX). Do you have this problem for all file types? Its important to note that VLC is not the best way to test, as it has its own codecs entirely independent of DirectShow.</p><p></p><p>As to your logs, this part makes me worry a bit :</p><p></p><p></p><p>First off, the video appears to already be 16:9 (1776x1000), so either the codec used for playback already upscaled it (possibly incorrectly) or it is indeed a 16:9 source. The second thing is that there seems to be an error in the computation of the dst rectangle (27,56)-(1735,922) as the screen is reported as 1708x978. You might want to try a more recent version of MediaPortal.</p><p></p><p>As to our 'support act', if you have a need for professional support you might want to buy a commercial product like Windows MCE. Please recall that the time i have just taken to respond here goes directly from my spare time.</p></blockquote><p></p>
