ASROCK ion 330 wake on lan with HPV-1950 remote (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Im upgrading my htpc from a normal desktop with internal pci winfast 2000H card to a Asrock ion 330(ASRock ION330 Mini Barebone Intel Atom 330, Nvidia ION, DVD-RW, GBL, VGA/ HDMI, Black) with a HPV-1950 (WinTV-HVR-1950 Product overview).

The HPV comes with a remote but I cant find if it will wake on usb(which the asrock supports) via the supplied remote or if i have to buy a separate remote like a mce of logitek harmony.

Wake on usb from the remote is essential for me because the asrock will be inside a cupboard like my current htpc.

Hi,

Only for information :

This will not help you but I've got a ASROCK ION330 with a mce remote (haupaugge mce remote + usb ir receiver) and the wake up from S3 (suspend) works fine by the remote.

No idea but it must be a very low power (2 or 4 W)
In use the maximum power of the power supply is 65W

I finally got my ion 330 and installed win7 onto it and it fly's. MP is on it now and its going great.

Seriously this little unit is the best investment ive made in a long time.

Im still looking for a way to power up the machine.

Something like : SIMEREC Universal IR Remote Control PC Power Switch but im not sure it works with the power supply or VL System Mplay MINI | Fine Upgrades (not for sale anymore).
