ASUS eb1501 or eb1012?? (1 Viewer)

HI

So im looking for a new client for my media portal system.

currently i have

Server
Win Server 2008 r2
with For the Record

Client 1
Win7 64bit
with media portal client (with FTR plugin)

i am wanting to add an aditional client that i can use to watch live tv etc
it would need to decode h264 1080 freeview (which i assume is 1080i)
and 1080p mkv etc (this i do via plex not media portal as I have a NAS running plex server)

can anyone offer advice on if a ASUS eb1501p would suit the job?
is there much diffrence between the eb1501p or eb1012p?

can any offer an opinion? i have read mixed thoughts on if the ION can handle 1080I h264 decoding

Hi!

I've bought a few days ago the EB1021 and i am happy with it.
I watch 720p TV and watch 720p Series and of course 1080p Movies.

So far i have not problems with it. Runs excellent.

Oh this sounds not good ... but as now i am having no problems with the EB1021 in my bedroom.
