ASUS Plendid technology - anyone tried it jet? (1 Viewer)

Have been at the cebit today and found something intresting at asus.
They have shown a pci-e "splendid" card (DVI) and a great soundcard (HDMI) - both with asus "splendid" video enhancement technology.

Found this link: ASUS VGA Feature , but this seems only to be about asus graphic cards using this technology.

Asked one of the asus presenters but they seem to know not much themselve about it.
"Makes a better picture" - really? Couldnt read the sign myself.
They also had no real time comparsion.

Did anyone knows more about it?

Strange. I just commented this technology in another thread ...

Anyway: Asus Splendid has never been anything more than a PITA in my experience (various issues).
