Asus U3100 issues (1 Viewer)

hi everyone. I'm new to media portal and would really lik to get it working. i have a PC running Win XP SP3 with an Asus U3100 USB tuner. When i try to scan for channels in the TV config, it always says "no Signal" although the signal is fine as checked using the Asus software. The card works fine with the Asus software but media portal just doesnt seem to be compatible. Any suggestions? Ive tried searching but came up with no solutions. The card comes up in the media portal tv config but simply wont activate the card when scanning for channels..... when using the Asus software, a green light comes on the card when activated (wathing tv) but this does not happen with media portal and the config simply says "no signal". i really would like this to work because media portal looks so promising!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum sparkydave
It looks like the U3100 should be supported, so I'm not sure what is going wrong. Can you please post your logs so I can see what is going on. It is *really* easy to grab logs - just use the watchdog (as detailed in our wiki -->here<--). Find the "debug mode" link in your start menu, use option 3 to make a zip file containing all currently present logs, then post the zip file here.
