ati 8.11 antialiasing murders video (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to enable AA in Catalyst Control Center to view the skin better and I get a black screen in videos in all aspects except original. When I disable AA (set it to application-controlled) everything is fine. ati
anyone else with such an issue?

Yes, the latest ATI drivers cause problems with AA enabled....perhaps try older ATI drivers 8.7 or earlier...

My card is not supported in those drivers. I got my hopes on December 10th and 8.12
I didn't have these problems in MP RC3 and Blue two though.

Sorry Frenzy, all I know is that with my ATI card all drivers after 8.7 causes problems with AA enabled...hope you get it resolved

Yes I also got it in RC3....

The problem is with both Video and TV, where the picture is shifted far to the right, showing half the picture and the rest being black...perhaps with your card the picture is shifted totally of the screen..

I see, well patience maybe ati with mediaportal will get better (or maybe I will uninstall a couple of games and use the 8400gs I have in the drawer).

Give the 8.12 a try!

On my HTPC until this version the TV or DVD was flickering when switching to the small preview.

This just happened using the hardware decoder. When switching to software decoder all was fine, but the HTPC slowed down...

Now, with the 8.12 it's a dream and it works as it should!

seconded - 8.12 solved flickering window for me too.
Runnng xp, vmr, rc4, ati3650
