Synopsis:
The program installed GREAT with no problems. I ran through the wizard and when it came time to choose my location in the USA there were only two choice like michigan and something else.
I've scoured the website for documentation and played with the program a bit. I just want to know how to get the "AUTOSCAN" to work (because I did find it in the options but it scans a frequency or something and finds nothing). Also it'd be cool to have the TV guide section show the programs in my area if possible.
I'm just looking to use this program to watch TV and record my programs. Nothing ultra-fancy, no hardcore programming or crazy skins or codecs. If I could figure out how to watch tv (firstly with this post) and record using my existing divx codecs I'll be happy as a pig in you know what...
I came here in desperate search of software to replace ATI's HORRIFIC multimedia software that I HATE HATE HATE HATE so much I can't even stand it. I appreciate everyone's patience, I am a medical student and my time is very short, I need something that works more reliably than ATI's software (which at this point is disasterously bad) and hoping that someone with some time and patience is willing to work me through setting this up.
Thanks so much...
