First off I'd like to say I think this software is the best HTPC app I have tried. My only issue that is making the decision to use MediaPortal is the compatiblity with the ATI HDTV tuner card. Here is my issue:
I can't seem to get the ATI HDTV card working with MediaPortal. When I scan for cable channels in the inital setup wizard it doesn't find anything. Then I launch the program and go to Settings - Setup Wizard. When press the next button on the page that says it detected my TV Tuner MediaPortal dies and I get this error below.
In the application event viewer:
