ATI Remote Wonder slow response (1 Viewer)

I am using a Remote wonder 1 remote and i have found it to be an extremely slow remote. For instance when i am in the tvguide in MP and want to go from the top to the bottom it only even scrolls 2 lines at a time then pauses and then scrolls another 2 lines and pauses again etc etc. The pause is only for a couple of seconds but it's not what i expected at all.

This also happens in windows itself when scrolling through files in windows explorer so it is not a MP issue or MP plugin problem. I am using the latest drivers from ATI and have replaced the batteries.

I have done a bit of searching but couldn't find much info on making this remote work like you expect a remote to work. Has anyone else had any experience with the remote wonder 1??

I have same problemm, but when i try it in girder it gets plenty of messages when i keep button pressed. In media portal moving is really slow, i tought it is because i use it on secondary display, but i tryed moving with mouse and it was hell fast.

Did you found some way how to "fix" it?

BTW i installed some media portal skin and i can't use my music library in it only reainstallation helped me, weird, but totally off topic here

I checked button mappings, drivers and replaced batteries and i didn't get any reply from the forum and it still didn't work so I ended up throwing the remote wonder out. I ended up buying an mce remote, works straight away exactly how you expect it to and they are dirt cheap these days. mce remote is infra red, not RF like the remote wonder, but i have a kb connected to my media box in the lounge room anyways (partially hidden) so a little black receiver box is fine.

About your second problem, if you used the original skin that came with MP did the music library work then? too late to try it now i guess.

It didn't work with standard skin, but it works now after reinstall.

I found out, that my slow response was cause by media portal don't have focus if it have it is even faster that i want ). Problem is that even if i set media portal process priority to high in configuration it still have slow response times without focus on it. (
