I have OTHER news to report on the ATi 650 Combo USB tuner... I am able to capture analog the S-Video input (view and/or record to HDD) while simultaneously viewing/streaming the ATSC tuner (to HDD as well). YES, dual streams and I'm not using the 9.3 driver (described above)! Instead I loaded CCC 10.4 onto my AMD-based, Win-7 Premium 32-bit OS system. Also, those of us reading this thread know that AMD/ATi has no Win 7 drivers on their site... in fact, on page 3 of the CCC 10.4 release notes they state:
Note: The ATI Catalyst™ driver includes TV/Capture driver support for many ATI Theater 600 and ATI Theater 650 products under Windows 7 (in addition to ATI Theater HD 750). Windows 7 TV/Capture functionality is currently NOT supported by ATI Catalyst™ for the following products only: ATI All-in-Wonder HD, ATI TV Wonder 650 Combo USB, and ATI TV Wonder 600 USB.
I'm not sure why my S-Video analog capture is working but it is. Also let me say I was having issue with MP 1.1.0.0 RC1 freezing up and put getting analog capture to work on the back burner... now with MP 1.1.0.0 RC2 the analog capture is again (used to work under XP and MP 1.0.2) working!
