I'm pretty much new around here. Used MP off & on a while back but have been using GBPVR with one PVR-500 for a while. The wife finally got tired of me researching TVs and told me to get one so I will be recieving my 42 in LCD sometime this week. I'm in Torrance, CA and visited a neighbor over the weekend to check out the number of OTA channels and couldn't believe it. I was just going to stick with a HD-DVR box from Time Warner but now I'm excited to do some geekin' and ordered a VBOX DTA-151, Another Hard Drive for the HD content, and a Geforce 7900GT 256mb to drive the new display and for the muscle behind playing back HD content. I plan on trying out MP again as so much looks to have changed and I'll compare the results against GBPVR's ATSC performance and see what happens. I love how active the community is here and how far the software has come...the installer package has made great strides. Anyways...just letting you know you'll hopefully have another ATSC tester if all goes well.
