Ok i plan on building a HTPC soon. I have been using my xbox with XBMC and just used it to stream movies to it to watch and now sold it to fund my HTPC project. What I need to know is how ATSC cards work. I have Digital Cable through Adelphia, would i just plug a line into the ATSC card and would i get my Digital channels that i get on my STB or would I have to configure something?
Plan on getting a VBOX DTA-150 and a Hauppauge PVR-500MCE card to capture Analog channels.
