Hi
Why doesn't this forum allow attachments? It would be great to
share ones work w/ other community members so we don't need to
keep repeating the work. I noticed that some members just "attach"
text docs, inline.

IMO, It would be best to allow attachement.

Can someone answer why this can or cannot be supported!!

Honestly it's because i'm trying to keep the forums online. The server they are on is in need of an upgrade. When i took over the duties of hosting the forums we had 600 users, we have over 7000 now. We've already mailed the payment for a new server, so along with the new hardware, i'll be installing many of the mods people have requested. We're also working on a section of the website for people to upload files.

This is wonderful news. We can share each other's work more efficiently
and not having to duplicate it. It's probably somehere on this forum.....
when is the new server expected?

The company should get the money order tommorrow, after that i'm guessing it'll take a day or two for them to build it, then 4 days shipping to get back to me. Once i have it, i'll get it configured, move a backup of the forums over and test it for awhile(few hours at most) then i'll swap out servers and we'll be rockin and rollin.

Umm... am I missing something here? I still don't see the ability to add attachements, after quite some time. I agree that I have not been a regular on these forums lately, but I have not seen any changes after moving to the new server system (or this didn't happen?)
