I apologize if this has already been discussed, I did a bit of searching and didn't see much. I followed the guide to the letter and thought I had everything perfect. I have been using makemkv to rip all my blurays uncompressed. Until tonight everything I had watched was in h264. Tonight I watched a VC-1 movie. Every 30-40 minutes I would notice the audio go out of sync with the movie and I would have to pause and restart to correct it. I am using HDMI output to my projector, and MP is set auto switch refresh, so the movie is playing at 24p (or 23.97 or whatever). I am using windows7 64bit with MP 1.1 rc2 all codecs are the newest versions. My codec choices are as follows: mpeg2 - ffdshow h.264 - mpc mpeg/ac3 audio - ffshow aac audio -ffdshow audio renderer: default direct sound. (ati 5850 onboard sound) I have ffdshow audio setupt to bitstream audio, all tracks are either TrueHD or DTS. Those are the only setting I have changed in my codecs. This pc is used as a htpc and a normal computer. I have it setup so if the receiver is powered up and switches to the pc input the normal monitor is deactivated, and output switches to the projector. Anyone have any fixes for this, or is there some more information that would be helpful?
