I am running MP 1.1.0.0 with SAF
I have my HTPC feeding into my LCD TV via HDMI, and also have my HTPC feeding into my old (non HDMI) AV Amp via SPDIF
I was thinking of getting the AV amp to be the master audio device (controlling volume, etc).
But I am experiencing audio lip sync issues when watching TV.
If I watch a movie (ie DTS) then the lip sync issue seems fine.
For me, most MP things are working good (feel like I'm at the end of a long journey) - with this lip sync issue being one of that last few things to sort!
I could utilise the TV speakers for normal watching and the surround sound for movies, but I'm not sure how I can control the audio output and muting/switching of these via remote control.
To be honest, I'm a little out of my depth with the audio side of things AC3/AAC/MPEG/DTS/etc/etc.....
