hi guys, i have another problem here. this time an audio issue. for the encoding of the sound for my movies i use AC3 filter 1.63b. my htpc is connected with spdif to my amplifier. so, i set the output to spdif. but now it comes. when i select "use spdif" in AC3filter the sound is very good, very powerfull and the surround is awesome. but the dialogs are extremely silent. i can bearely hear it. you would say, no problem just raise the voice volume in AC3filter. well your right about this and i did this also. but to my frustration the dialog stays at the same low volume. when i deselect "use spdif" in AC3filter then i don't have any problem with the dialogs. and then the voice settings are working. but then the sound lacks any power and dynamics. and the sound generally is not so good either. i also notice then that for some reason the amplifier is only showing 2 channels which might be a reason for the low audio quality. although when i check the AC3filter then while a movie is playing i see movement on all 6 outputs. then i checked with graphedit with a sample file and it uses AC3filter. i know that bassically you cannot change much when you use spdif. (or at least, thats what i assume) but before i never had this problem with low dialogs. i already uninstalled and reinstalled AC3filter to no avail. before i did not have this problem. so i'm kinda stuck here. i really want my powerfull sound back with audible dialogs. i do have to say that before i was running vista. (it cost me 10 years of my life) now i'm running on WIN7 with mp 1.02.0. (since last week) my audio card is a theatron agrippa. is there anybody who knows how to fix this. regards, montecristo
