I will try to layout my issue as well as possible.
When I try to play a ripped movie (.mkv) in mediaportal using MPC-HC, I get a very low sound. I can only hear it if I turn it up all they way to the max and even then its still very low. Mind you I'm using Realtek HDMI driver for multi-channel PCM.
But if I exit out of MP and use explorer to find the file and play it using MPC-HC, the sound is normal, powerful and fine. I don't know what the issue is.
I do have ac3filter installed and if I enable SPDIF then "Dolby Digital" come up on my reciever and i can hear the audio perfectly inside MP using MPC-HC.
I'm sure its something I'm missing and I'm hoping someone can help me solve the problem.
