Audio stopped working in 1.3.0 (1 Viewer)

I've been using 1.3.0 for a while and all of a sudden I've lost all audio (in menu's, music, tv, the lot). Audio still works OK in Windows (7) though. I hadn't been touching any settings to mess anything up either. I tried selecting different audio renderers but that didn't help. I also tried reinstalling MP but that didn't help either. I did notice that various Windows Updates were applied on 12/04 and I hadn't used MP since before then.

Can anyone suggest what could be wrong as I'm running out of ideas

Please take a look if mediaportal has been muted inside the Audio Mixer of windows!

Thank you. That was it! I had checked that audio wasn't muted (via my remote) but turns out that mutes the whole mixer and not just mediaportal.

I'm still puzzled as to what could have muted mediaportal though.
