Just for information: There is still some old code in the AudioMDE which calculates and retrieves infromation from FreeDB.

In the long run this should be replaced by MusicBrainz DiscID lookup.
Why I am I writing this?

Today I received the news that there are .NET / Mono bindings are available now for the official MusicBrainz libdiscid native binary.
