Audioscrobbler without MP (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I'm a little confused about scrobbling: there is a plug in for some media players (WMP, Foobar, ...) which announces your played tracks on Last.fm and in MP, it also ads tracks to your play list.
Does scrobbling mean what it does with those media players and what happens with MP, is that an added feature?

The reason that I'm asking this is because I'm looking for a way to automatically add songs by using foobar but cannot find this.

Hi kiwijunglist, thank you for your reply.

I have posted here since I only found the option to automatically add songs to the current playlist in MP.
That's why I wrote that I'm puzzled about the exact meaning of scrobbling.
So I don't know if I explained it correctly when asking about it.
