Australian users- over the weekend my mediaportal pc corrected adjusted for daylight saving time and went back an hour.

No problems, the tv guide adjusted and everything looks ok.

HOWEVER, it no longer records anything. All the scheduled tasks are still there and highlighted red on the tv guide but it does not record.

Anyone seen this problem or know how to rectify it.

To be honest, mate, I always turn OFF the daylight savings option in Windows and change the time myself when it ticks over (luckily I don't normally have anything set to record at like 3am on the changeover day). Enough years of dealing with Microsoft's poor handling of Australia date/time and the like has left me a little too jaded to trust them .....

My suggestion would be to do the same, and the restart your MediaPortal PC.

Cheers,
Craig

Had no problems myself. Daylight savings ticked over as Ausdigital described, TV guide updated correctly, etc. Recordings still happening. Do you use MS SQL Server or MySQL for TV Server? Personally I'm using MS SQL Server.

I am using the MySQL database on a multiseat setup. Currently unistalling everything relating to MP and SQL. Will do a clean install soon and run some tests on recording, hibernating and waking to record. Will post back soon.

I had to do an EPG refresh, in TVserver/manual control as my guide was out by an hour. I had to do it twice as the first time was still out by an hour. eg the 7pm project showed on the epg at 6:00

Have done a fresh install of everything and changed database to MS SQL instead of the MySQL server and so far things are looking ok. Have disabled the daylight saving update on the clock.
