MediaPortal Version: 0.2.0.4 Windows Version: MCE fully patched CPU Type: Athlon 64 3000+ HDD: 160 GB ATA Memory: 1GB DDR400 Motherboard: MSI K8N-Neo4 Motherboard Chipset: Nforce 4 Motherboard Bios: Video Card: Geforce FX 6500 Video Card Driver: Sound Card: Sound Card AC3: Sound Card Driver: 1. TV Card: Hauppauge Nova-S Plus 1. TV Card Type: DVB-S 1. TV Card Driver: actual I use my Mediaportal as a recordingstation for my Dreambox. So in fact it's not connected to Equipment like TV and fully administrated by Remote. I use MP webinterface to configure my recordings. Everything is fine, but the automatic compression doesn't work. I set it to compress, if mediaportal is idle for 1 Hour. When i check my settings and reset it, he immediatly starts compressing, but new recordings never get compressed. Due to my usage as an recordingstation it's necessary to compress the files to mpeg2 to be able to view them on my Dreambox. I read about the problem here in the forums, but they advised simply to compress by hand, in my case this is not really possible, cause i'm not directly connected to the PC. Maybe there is also a new webinterfacesoftware, that supports such additional functions, the actual one is ok, but there are lot of optimizations possible and the code ist not as fine, as it could be. Hope someone could help me. Maybe there is also a possibility to create a sheduler job, that checks every hour for uncompressed files and compresses them independently from the running MP.
