Auto turn om mp/fullscreen tv (1 Viewer)

Hello....

Is it by any chance possible to start mediaportal and get it to auto turn on fullscreen tv on a specific channel with a batch command?

Then i could wake my htpc up with at scheduled task and turn on tv every morning for the kids. And then I could get more sleep

Hi there,

Its not straight forward, but I believe its possible (famous last words!)

I think you will have to do 4 main things:

Wake the HTPC at specific (either via Windows Scheduler, or via a MePo plugin)
Set the channel you require to watch to be at the very top of the channel listings
Set My TV to launch in full screen
Install a plugin to lauch My TV as the default plugin/screen to launch on load

If you do a serach you should find the required info.

If anyone knows an easier way please say

You cannot define the channel though...

I heard a rumour that the top most channel would be played by default (never tested it though)

It would be nice if it was only in the morning that tv autostarts.
Is it not possible to simulate keypresses or remote buttons to navigate to mytv - tv on - channel number - fullscreen ?

Sadly this does not work at all for me on MP 1.1.0.0.
