Auto Update Frequencies (1 Viewer)

I have recently just finished building my first HTPC using MediaPortal. However it appears that from time to time my Cable Provider changes the frequencies of certain channels meaning I have to plug in a mouse or keyboard to do a rescan in the TV Server application. Is there anyway to get MediaPortal to automatically re-scan for channels using a plugin or something similar. Thanks
