The problem is, I use many bluray images and play them with powerdvd.
You will have to explain how that integrates with MP1 cause I don't quite get it. I also own the latest version of PowerDVD and somehow could never get to play 3D Blu-ray properly.
So I would be interested to understand how you get that done. Each time I tried I struggle with PowerDVD settings for 30mn before giving up.
The only 3D I watch through MP1 are 3D SBS MKVs which I generated from original 3D Blu-rays or 3D SBS TV live programs and recordings.

So this behavior is not optimal, as long my TV is recognizing the native bluray 3D mode, but not the sbs.
Please explain I don't get it either. The use case you described above does not mention anything about your TV 3D detection.
TVs usually do not detect frame compatible 3D format such as SBS or TAB.

After every change of the format I have to adjust the 3D mode of the TV manually...
It looks like you are using multiple kind of 3D format somehow that could indeed cause problems. Though I don't understand how that would have worked before.

Next time I modify that code I could try and optionally put back the old behavior.
It could be done by having an option like "Always switch back to 2D when 3D video ends".

Yes, MP3D is a (now discontinued) plugin for MP which allowed viewing 3D content without a 3D-ready TV (which is exactly my case):
    http://mp3d.codeplex.com/

Perhaps you could check the source code (and perhaps even "borrow" parts of it) to implement this functionality into Auto3D ;)

That looks awesome! Thanks for the pointer. I guess I should try build it at some point.
Do you happen to know why it's not compatible with current MP1 versions?
Ideally we would like that Red and Cyan stereoscopic 3D support integrated in Auto3D or MP1 directly.

For Iso Bluray 2D/3D Images and DVDs I use PowerDVD 16 (purchased version). 3D from PowerDVD will be recognized by the TV, as long I have HDMI 1.4 outpot. Works perfect. But I do NOT use the ISO play function from PowerDVD, as long she is laggy! Config see pictures... Ignore the greyed out DTLite entry. I tried, but removed the tool. It works perfect in native mode Windows 10!
I Use a logitech remote and put Alt+F4 at the ""stop" key (long pressing) to end powerDVD after a movie. Works perfect.

    Again:
TV switchs automatically, if he get a 3D signal from PowerDVD with Bluray ISO.
TV does NOT switch, if he get SBS, HOU or similar signals.
It is a LG TV, attached by hdmi and wlan.

I use 2 different 3D formats: HSBS and native Bluray Disks (BD3D).

Most interesting posts and video, thanks for that.
If I understand well, your issue is that your TV does not switch automatically to proper 3D, from external player, when already set to 3D SBS, from playing such video.
Therefore you liked better the behavior as it was before.
Did you ever try to switch from one SBS video to another, without stopping it? I doubt this was working before, now it should.
So maybe you lost one fluid use case but traded it for another.

Until I get around implementing a solution for your use case you can do the following:
    • Install an earlier version of Auto3D for MP1.15.
    • Use the Auto3D menu to switch back to 2D if needed before starting a BD3D. You should be able to bind a key on your remote to that 3D menu dialog.
    • Play a 2D video after playing 3D SBS video before launching your BD3D.

I never switched from One 3D Video to another while watching... why should I? ;)
Actually i use a Programme Action on my harmony to switch the 3d modes on tv. But in this case the Menü of MP is crappy...
May be I use another Way as you suggested. But it woukd be great if you implement the Old switching-back-after-video mode.

Just for information: Ctrl+D is not possible by remote control. I asked Logitech for support...

They are wrong. I can do Ctrl+D by teaching it to my Harmony from a Microsoft IR keyboard. If your receiver is fully compatible with eHome it will just work. However there are other keys you could use on your remote and just teach it to Auto3D.
