To bad that my Dell pc lcd monitor will only do 60Hz. It will do 50Hz in all other modes than innative 1:1 pixel so I guess the scaler will do rate conversion as well when it is activated.

Nearly no reviews of LCD/Plasme tv sets focus on 1:1 pixel without scaling/overscan, let alone testing 24/25/30 Hz multiples native frame reate...
