After some days the server becomes slow and needs a reboot, it would be nice with a plugin that does it automatically, when no recordings scheduled and the server is idle in the middle of the night and becomes fresh until next day!

Anyone more thinks this is a good idea?

Why don't you schedule a reboot job within a Windows? MP has nothing to do with rebooting your pc.
you can use following command to reboot your pc
    shutdown -r
and use at command to schedule it at given interval.

yeah, I have a scheduled reboot on mine for this reason, but would be nice if there was an extra function in PowerScheduler to only reboot if idle.

The "MCE Standby tool" (it's Freeware, see google) will automatically reboot whenever you want, i.e. daily, weekly, etc. It will do this instead of resuming so you could set Powerscheduler to resume (for recording) at time that is equal to "reboot time + pre-record time", say 10 minutes, you should be fine.

    Good luck,
