The only thing I'd remark on with the draft is that 12noon DC isn't quite the powerstrip replacement. I can specify full timing settings to Powerstrip (and hence set my TV to 720p48) whereas DC will only change to 50 or 60 even with the -force option. I believe this is because there isn't a 48p resolution available in the drivers, but I can still get there with Powerstrip.Unfortunately Powerstrip crashes my machine on startup about 3 in 5 times. Does anyone know how to get a proper custom resolution into the modern ATI drivers? I got nowhere.
