edterbak, Ive downloaded the excel tool but am a bit confused I have a samsung32" 1080 LCD. Its connected to PC with HDMI @1080 desktop res In the manual it states the following: HDMI 640x480 horozontal freq 31.469 vertical freq 59.940 pixel clock freq 21.175 Sync polarity -/- HDMI 800x600 hf 37.879 vf 60.317 pf 40.000 sp +/+ HDMI 1024x768 48.363 60.004 65.000 -/- 1280x1024 63.981 60.020 108.000 +/+ 1360x768 47.712 60.015 85.500 +/+ 1600x1200 75.000 60.000 162.000 +/+ 1920x1080 hf 67.5 vf 60.0 pf 148.5 +/+ Questions: So does this mean the correct refreshrate is 60hz for the TV? If im playing a standard def xvid-rip in MP is the resolution still 1080x1920? If im using an alternate zoom mode does this affect resolution (and therefore required refresh rate?) I dont think I understand the matrix in the excel tool and am not understanding how to set up the refreshrate changer for the tv. Any pointers would be appreciated. Im lost :(
