I thought that I might need to give the 1.1 Alpha a go. So I installed the Alpha and then found that again no refresh rate changing was occurring, even though I got the popup message to confirm that it was happening before the film and then after to invoke the default hz. I then set it to force the refresh rate and got my very first BSOD with a fault in the CDD.dll. Now when I run MP 1.1 Alpha I get the following problem... See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.InvalidOperationException: There is an At least I have 1.02 on my HTPC and, apart from no refresh rate changer, all is well. FWIW I did load the 12 noon display changer and tried to use that via a cmd window. It too went through the motions of flickering the TV screen to suggest that it was invoking the 24hz refresh rate and it DOES work. I can change rates back and forth fine. So when I add the following to my MediaPortal.xml file...

yes

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\12noon Display Changer\\dccmd.exe -refresh=24 -quiet

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\12noon Display Changer\\dccmd.exe -refresh=50 -quiet

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\12noon Display Changer\\dccmd.exe -refresh=60 -quiet

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\12noon Display Changer\\dccmd.exe -refresh=50 -quiet

23.976;24

25

29.97;30

25

24

50

30

50

pal_hz

yes

no

no
... and remove what was previously there relating to the refresh rate changing it works a treat :)
