First: Sorry for my english :D . I sort of mixed my two statements together. That way they probably didnt make sense anymore. My first statement was about gibmans "Frame doubling interpolation" post. Just read through the thread he linked to to see that this thing is a really bad idea. And I mean the effects on the video, not that one needs a powerful pc or whatever. The other thing I mixed in my previous post was the way I watch my movies/TV series. Using MediaPortal 1.0.2 with the awesome Automatic Refreshrate Changer. BUT (big but) the internal MediaPortal player is not able to achieve proper, super smooth 24p playback. MPC-HC does. No rarely stutter , judder, or anything. Thats why I have to use MPC-HC as an external player which opens fullscreen once I select a videofile in MediaPortal. (both MediaPortal and MPC-HC use CoreAVC with cuda enabled and haali splitter. using evr. This is some bug in MediaPortal which I hope gets fixed with this . Although I dont have any audio problems, but one frame stutter every 40 somewhat seconds )
