i had 1.2.1 running fine for some time tapped avdelay to the right a few time watching a vid
now it's maxed out to the right and doing a clean install don't even reset it any ideas .
logs are empty
i use StreamedMP skin newest one 1.7.1

i more or less just want to know the location it's stored so i can reset it by hand then never touch it.

given it did not reset on a clean install i guess it's in the reg some where. (i ran CCleaner and did a defrag before installing)

    Hi techmasterjoe

I don't know what setting you're referring to but we don't store settings in the registry. MediaPortal settings are stored in MediaPortal.xml which is in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\ (note: hidden folder, so paste the path into the address bar of Windows Explorer or enable viewing of hidden and system files and folders), and TV Server settings are stored in a database. If you did a complete uninstall then the MediaPortal settings file should have been deleted and the TV Server database would have been deleted...

So what is the setting you're referring to? Is it the "delay interval" on the "general" tab in the "videos" section of MediaPortal configuration (wiki)?

this is the one a am talking about
i don't use blue skins they are just to bright i like deep dark skins :sorry:
the screen shot is the clean install from a 2nd windows 7 user account
that slider is maxed at 20 to the right and if i move it to zero stop the video and start it, it will be back at 20 and 20 X 50ms + delay in audio vs video is really a pain and plays with your mind

i have been using MP for a few years now and i have yet to find anything that can beat it
i used a modded org XBOX with a 320GB drive up tell anime started to move to x264 codecs.
i still have that xbox modded to a tee but even with 4X the ram on board custom linux and a 1.3ghz p3 chip i almost never use it anymore i just have my monitor wall and my big screen in same room all running off my pc
i only once used mp for TV with a card about 2 years ago it worked but i do clean os installs about every 6 months and resetting up tv setting just are not worth it to me so i only use it for movies, anime, and downloaded stuff

    system spec's:
dual Intel E5645 at 3.6ghz (has seen 4.4+ cut back to save power and heat in summer)
    EVGA SR-2 a2 mobo
    3 EVGA GTX580's hydro coppers
    24GB's of DDR3 at 1744mhz 7-7-7-18 1.58v
arc 1220 raid card with 4 sans digital 8 bay enclosures all full of 2TB drives in raid 5
(53,783GB of space for movies and anime i have used about 8TB so far no all my movie rips i did from my blurays )
custom mountainmods.com case everything is Water cooled
6X asus led 23" hdmi monitors on full motion wall monts with hdmi to dvi cables
1X 55" Samsung led D8000 HDTV use mediaportal on this screen
1 Panasonic PT-AE7000U 1080P projector and blackdiamond 115" screen mediaportal finds it's way here at times
dual LG bluray burners and a pair of plan dvd burners just because they seam a tad faster then the bluray drives are when doing dvd's

i know where mediaportal stores it's settings i just can't find this one in it or in streamed settings i have a thread like this in StreamedMP as well and keeping them both updated tell we find the true issue.

i have tested the slider under the new user and it works fine but i don't have the guts to max it out:)

if you like i can set mediaportal on the monitor wall and take a pic sometime i bet it make a sick settings screen or something:)

if you want a setup like mine make sure you can take the hit in parts alone i spent 8,000$ not including the raid card and extra hard drives 1/3rd my cost was the water cooling system. the case with all the extras i added to it came out to about 1100$ total and it's the size of a avg fridge it's 52" tall 42" wide 32" deep
the case has 2 more systems with intel 2600k's oc'd to 5.4ghz with 8GB of ram and a 60GB ssd they just fold BigADV for the folding@home project 24x7 so in truth it's 3 PC's in one
