help ! I am trying to set up a play list for my kids ( aged 2&3) .I have pleantry of movies for them to watch but they are all ( Div X /avi ) copies so that no disc`s are involved but the problem i`m having is that all the icons come up the same so0 the kids can`t tell one movie from the other .I tried to change the icons but that seems only to work on shortcuts and media portal dosn`t seam to read them .I think this is a good way6 to go if the kids can just pick a picture of the movie they want to watch instead of having to be able to have to read the name on the avi icon .
Any help would be greatly apprecated

Just put them in x:\yourmoviefolder\nameofmovie folder, and add "x:\yourmoviefolder" too mediaportal in video config. Then just enter MP and click info on the folders of the movies you want pictures of, select IMDB, and it will search for that movie for you. Grabbing info and a cover.

You can use whatever view looks best for you. Filmstrip or big icons etc.

I would think there is more detailed info in the MP wiki, check it out too.

I did it like this.
I made a "Children shows" folder where I put all his movies. Then I added the coverart with the same filename as the avi (except for the extension ofcourse :). I.e Backyardigans.avi and Backyardigans.jpg. In the Children show-folder all movies with a coverart picture now displays the picture.
