Hi. There are two possibilities to watch Live TV on Android or iOS Devices via MPExtended. One way is to directly deliver the original stream. This is the same as watching Live TV on a "normal" Windows PC, so not much power needed. But you need a strong tablet for this. As example my Tablet (2 Ghz QuadCore CPU and GPU able to display resolutions above "Full HD") can handle direct streams without issues. So I can use 4 or 5 of them at the same time (as long as the Wlan is fast enough) But other, not that powerful devices like my smartphone are not able to do so. For those devices the Server needs to recode the LiveTV "on the fly" to a format the phone can handle. As you can imagine, recoding of (worst case scenario) 1080i HDTV needs a lot of CPU power, if you need to do it fast (faster than real time as you need some extra buffer)... And with two devices you need double the power, with 3 you need it three times,... BTW I'm not using aMPdroid on my tablet, I'm using the full blown "XBMC/Kodi for Android" on it as MP client. Works like a charm.
