BackupSettings for MP2 I am starting here a new thread BackupSettings for MP2. Please post any MP2 issues of my plugin or external client program here. The thread BackupSettings for MP1 is here. The BackupSettings plugin can be downloaded from the plugin repository or from here. Installation: - Start the MediaPortal Extension Installer (MPEI) which can be found in your MediaPortal1 program directory and install BackupSettings - Or you can download BackupSettingsVx.x.x.x.Release.zip and unzip it. After unzipping start install.exe. Do not start install.exe outside the zipped folder. Requirements: MediaPortal2 alfa or Easter built Windows 7 (32bit or 64 bit) Standard installation paths The installer will detect the necessary installation. The preferred way is to use the tv server plugin if MP2 is installed on the same computer as the tv server. If this is not the case you can install the MP2 client plugin or the MP2 server program. Important: - you cannot import global shares or any data from MP1, so you need to input them the first time manually. - the database format did change between MP2-alfa and the MP2 easter built. So you cannot import the data base and need to uncheck in the tab Mp2 the setting "Database" if you import data from MP2-alfa.
